History
Mariposa Cruises was incorporated in 1987- with the purchase of The Mariposa Belle, which was added to the existing fleet of The Rosemary. Canadian owned and operated, Mariposa Cruises next acquired the spectacular Captain Matthew Flinders and sailed her from Australia in 1989. In the early 90’s- The Showboat ,The Northern Spirit and The Oriole were all added to Mariposa’s current fleet of six uniquely styled and well maintained vessels. Stability, quality- customer service excellence are the foundations of Mariposa- the leader in the hospitality cruise industry.
